- Version detection reads from pyproject.toml as fallback

- Non-blocking with continue-on-error

Implemented: Docker images built for multiple architectures

- linux/arm64 - ARM systems (M1/M2 Macs, ARM servers)
Components: - QEMU for cross-platform emulation - Docker Buildx for multi-architecture builds - GitHub Actions cache for faster builds
Build Time: - Without cache: ~90 seconds (both platforms) - With cache: ~36 seconds (40% improvement)

Implemented: Comprehensive testing on all pull requests

Test Matrix: Python 3.11, 3.12, 3.13

Issues Encountered & Resolved¶
Issue 1: Release Please Not Updating Version Files¶
Version: v2.0.1
Problem: extra-files parameter deprecated in v4
Solution: Adopted PEP 621, used [project] section in pyproject.toml

Issue 2: Docker Images Not Building After Release¶
Version: v2.0.2 - v2.0.4
Problem: Release Please creates releases via API, doesn't trigger on: push: tags:
Solution: Made workflow reusable with workflow_call, triggered from release-please

Issue 3: Docker Images Missing Version Tags¶
Version: v2.0.5
Problem: Images only tagged as main or latest, not version numbers
Solution: Configure metadata action to generate tags from workflow input

Issue 4: Docker Tag Format Confusion¶
Version: v2.0.7
Problem: Users expected v2.0.7 but Docker convention is 2.0.7
Solution: Create both formats - standard Docker + v-prefix for Git compatibility

Issue 5: Version Shows "unknown" in Container¶

Problem: pyproject.toml not copied to image, version detection failed
Solution: Add COPY pyproject.toml to Dockerfile
